What data do we collect about you?

All visitors to Homoware’s website have their activity recorded, i.e., which pages they visit, their IP address, and the browser used. These data cannot be linked to you as a person.

When you visit Homoware.com, cookies are placed on your computer. These small text files are harmless and contain only information about your order, and are automatically deleted by your browser – a detailed specification of the cookies can be found at https://www.homoware.com/pages/Cookies/

Club Homoware

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter directly on the website, you will receive a confirmation email which you must confirm by clicking a link. Only then is your subscription to Club Homoware finalized.

If you subscribe to the newsletter (Club Homoware) during a purchase, you must actively opt-in. You will then receive a confirmation email, which does not need to be confirmed if your order is completed and paid.

While you are subscribed to Club Homoware, we store your personal data, i.e., name and email, possibly also address and phone number if registered, so we can send our newsletter electronically.

You can unsubscribe at any time directly from a newsletter, via our website, or by contacting our customer service at info@homoware.com

After unsubscribing from Club Homoware, your data will be anonymized after 6 months of inactivity.

When purchasing from Homoware

If you make a purchase on Homoware.com, you must provide your full name, address, and email to send the order confirmation/invoice and the goods.

You may also add your mobile number to receive package updates via SMS.

Order data is kept for 5 years according to accounting law, but longer if you continue shopping with us, so you have a complete order history.

Your customer data is automatically anonymized after 2 years of inactivity, except if you are still a Club Homoware member – then anonymization occurs 6 months after leaving the club.

Once your customer data is anonymized, you can no longer log in or view your order history.

Cancelled purchases at Homoware

If you enter personal data (name, address, email, phone) during a purchase but cancel, your information is automatically anonymized after 6 months.

What do we use your personal data for

We only use your data to process your order or send newsletters if you are a Club Homoware member. We record only the information strictly necessary to complete the agreement with you.

Note that purchasing certain items (typically, but not limited to, fetish products) may be considered sensitive personal data if combined with other personal information.

Who has access to your personal data

All personal data that can identify you, i.e., name, email, and mobile number, is stored encrypted in our system, and only Homoware.com staff have access.

All data on Homoware.com is processed via SSL – encrypted internet connections – so third parties cannot intercept information entered on our website.

Who do we share your data with

To send your goods, we must share address information with the carrier (PostNord) – they do not receive any information about the contents, only name, address, email, and phone to track the shipment.

If you pay via ViaBill, order information is shared with ViaBill for correct invoicing.

Homoware ensures your data is not misused. We impose high standards on our partners and guarantee your data is protected.

We never sell your personal data and only share information as necessary to service you, e.g., for order or newsletter delivery.

Who is responsible for your personal data

HarinWeb/Homoware is responsible for your data and does everything possible to make you feel secure.

Your rights

Right of access

If you want to know what data we have about you, you have the right of access – contact us and we will provide all registered data. We confirm receipt within 3 business days and send data within 30 days.

Right to anonymization

You can request anonymization at any time. Contact customer service at info@homoware.com. We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete anonymization within 30 days.

When anonymized, all personal data (name, address, email, phone, mobile) is replaced with computer-generated gibberish and cannot be traced back to you.

Anonymization occurs automatically when we no longer need the data, but you can request it earlier.

All requests regarding access, corrections, or anonymization must be in writing to info@homoware.com

Complaints

If you believe your personal data is processed unlawfully, please contact us to resolve the issue.
