Gay-men Pride

There is no official pride flag for gay men, but an unofficial flag was introduced in 2019 and has since gained popularity among some in the community. It was created to give men who love men a specific symbol of community and visibility.

The flag has seven horizontal stripes:

• Dark Green: Community and masculinity.
• Light Green: Peace and healing.
• White (center): Inclusion, love, and neutrality.
• Light Blue: Sensitivity and openness.
• Turquoise: Uniqueness.
• Indigo: Loyalty and depth in relationships.
• Navy Blue (bottom): Strength and stability.

It is important to note that this flag is not universally recognized, but it has gained traction in certain LGBTQ+ communities and is primarily used online and in niche spaces.

Being a "gay man" means that you are a man who is romantically and/or sexually attracted to other men. This can be a cisgender man, a trans man, or a non-binary person who identifies as a man and experiences this kind of attraction. It is a proud and legitimate part of the broad LGBTQIA+ spectrum.

The most well-known flag is the rainbow flag, which symbolizes the entire LGBTQ+ community, but it is particularly associated with gay men. There are also more niche-oriented flags such as the “gay men flag” (with blue and green shades), the leather flag, and the bear flag, which are used by different subcultures within the gay community.
